The 72-Hour Fast
The big challenge this week for the crew was the 72-Hour Fast which started Sunday (20/10) 8pm to Wednesday (23/10) 8pm.
The key reasons for the challenge weren’t weight-loss but improve insulin levels, mental clarity, reduce inflammation, improve the metabolism as they move into ketosis and remove any lingering food from the guts.
Post Fast, the focus has been to consume Broths and Soups (for the first 24 hours), high protein and fats with probiotics.
The feedback from our Re-setters is that they’re a lot more mindful of what they’re consuming since Wednesday and the energy levels are higher than usual.
The team enter Week 5: “HELL WEEK”, as they turn up the volume for the penultimate week of the challenge.
